Bank Holiday Monday Swimventure

I met up with a fab bunch of ladies today at Sparth Reservoir, Marsden. We are all seasoned open swimmers who have met through our love of open water swimming. We didn’t take the water temp but reckon it was about 7° but the wind made it feel cooler.

It’s hard to explain how amazing you feel after a cold water swim … I have quite a busy mind but when I get in the water, it’s almost like a ‘ctrl, alt, del’ on a computer … it gets rid of the crap and refreshes/resets my mind … a kind of meditative state. Lots of people think I am crazy for doing it, but I think they are equally as crazy for not trying it!!
