Unexpected

Today took an unexpected turn. A friend on Parker fell last night and broke her arm badly. She spent the afternoon and evening at the hospital. Here now with me and her partner and dog for the night. Deb and Phil and dog Jake. This is him up on my sofa watching Phil and I have dinner. It is a bad break and in need of surgery to pin it. She has a cast for now. Back in a few days once the surgery is booked. Not the day I expected. So it goes.
