Brickie, Me & The Cement Mixer

Spent a bit of time at my work (unpaid) knocking a gate together. Made the most of a morticer, circular saw & band saw, only for the gate to be unassembled to fit in my car in true Ikea flat pack fashion.

The wall is coming on very nicely indeed. Above you can see the new (LHS) against the old (nextdoor, RHS). I had a bit of fun with this shot as the brickie, M, was packing away his gear, timing it so that he was walking "in between the shadows". The wall will be completed tomorrow. The weather was on our side this week for brick laying - no rain, lots of sun though very cold still especially with the wind chill.

P & I had our hair cut today at the "new" hairdressers* and we came across this bizarre abstract on the way.
