Warm up North

Woke up to a heavy frost in Calder Valley, at first l thought it had been snowing and maybe it had.
Packed the car after scraping off all he frost, first time this winter, said my goodbyes and then drove to Skipton.
Got warmer by the degree as l headed north.
Entirely different day by the time l picked Kitty up to take her into Ilkley to get a L F T at school. A text will be sent to home with the result, If it’s negative she can go back tomorrow.
There is usually a queue while this happens so l went for a quick walk towards the moor.
Had only got to the paddling pool when she text to say she was tested.
The padding pool was partially frozen …if it had been from where l set off from first thing you could have skated on it.
