The end of a very productive life

I think my camera has reached the end of a very useful life. The shutter only closes properly when you give the camera a good dunt on your sleeve and it doesn't open properly either and there is a real grinding noise when the lens opens. I think it's the sea air that has caused the problem.

I thought about paying a visit to our very good camera repair firm but then thought the cost of repair might be more than the initial cost. I like the camera so just sent for the same model again. It's due on Friday or Saturday. Till the I'll just have to manage with the grinding and dunting.
