Harrison Stickle and Loft Crag from Pike o'Stickle

Large on Black please!

After the damp, mild weather over the past few days, we woke to clear skies and snow on the tops. With spikes packed in our bags we headed down to the Langdale Pikes, and climbed Pavey Ark, Thunacar Knott, Pike o'Stickle, Loft Crag and Harrison Stickle. We were above the snow line most of the day and conditions were pretty icy, the spikes were essential for us to be able to cover the distance as ascents were slippy, but descents were treacherous. If you look in the distance on the right side of the photo, you'll spot Blea Tarn.
