The Joy Ark Sandwich Board Man

There are 104 bollards lining the arc of Waterfront Geelong from Limeburners Point to Rippleside. Old timber pier pylons have been transformed into colourful pieces of public art. Each bollard represents a different character from Geelong's history. The Joy Ark Sandwich Board Man was a gentleman advertising the Joy Ark which was built in 1912 as a silent picture movie hall and entertainment venue.
