Animal Kingdom

Heather LOVES flamingoes so when we met these in Animal Kingdom, we had to get a photograph!

We had the most amazing day on their Wild Africa Trek which took us on little paths (and two rope bridges) around bits of the park that you don't normally get to see. We were able to stop for ages on the savanna section. We had to leave all our stuff in a locker at the start, so no photos (yet) but there was a photographer on the tour taking photos that we'll get on a CD in a couple of weeks.

Thanks to a VERY kind cast member, we had "anywhere anytime" FastPasses which enabled us to head straight for Expedition Everest ("it'll be fine, it's not that big a roller coaster....")

Oops! Ten minutes later, one exhilarated daughter and mother, one totally traumatised daughter and father.

And then the rain started...

We did make it back to Magic Kingdom for the electrical parade and fireworks, which were fantastic!
