Windfarm

This ironstone ridge just outside Port Augusta makes a great place for wind turbines. Sth Australia have gone into Wind and Solar power generation in a big way in recent years.

Further back down the road a section of the ridge had been shaped by mining, making it look like a giant Lego sculpture. Sadly both of the official Enzotraveldog photographers were deep in conversation at the time, so they neglected to get a photo of it!

I’m not sure why some people regards wind turbines as ugly, They have a beautiful sculptured shape and rotate in an elegant rhythmic manner. They are among the best looking machines you’ll ever see.
