Sunken leaves

Our morning walk took us along the river bank where we identified goosanders as well as coots, moorhens, mallards and a grey heron. At lunchtime, our good friend Philipp arrived for a couple of days. We walked down to the park by the lake in the early afternoon and it was so grey and calm it was like seeing these leaves through non-reflective glass. It's nice to have some time to catch up with friends.
