Otira Gorge

We came over to the West Coast today, thinking to get away from the heat. Snort. Didn't achieve that. 3.30pm and it's 29 degrees here at Lake Brunner.

Can't keep the 12 year old out of the water at Iveagh Bay (see extra). He's probably copped some sunburn because I didn't realise just how long he'd be content to float around. Bad grandmother!
