Front brake pad – new pads all around and new front brake cable, plus flexy cable guide in place of old fixed right-angled one that keeps seizing up. Frustrating night of fiddling about to get things satisfactory.
Tad moist this morning, though would've been drier had I not stopped to help a fella from the Fire Brigade with his two blown bicycle tubes. He'd had a nasty slide/fall at the former Drumsmittal school bends – they're severely pot-holed. He was covered in muck from face to toe on one side, with a bloody bash below his knee. Swapped two inner tubes, but the second (front) one exploded with an almighty bang under inflation. Had to leave him to it then. Well drookit on the return journey.
Chancing it photo, shutter speed-wise, in the last seconds of the day/night.
