Blind shopping

Today I had to go to the ophthalmologist to have my right eye checked. He had to dilate my pupil to see everything inside my eye more clearly. Although I told him that I still see little threads in my eye, he said that it was normal and that I shouldn't worry about this.
I was relieved to hear this news.
In fact, I was so glad that the problem with my eyes is improving that I accepted Pedro's suggestion to go shopping, but having my pupil fully dilated all I could see in the department store were rows of points of bright lights, so bright I felt like I was inside a Christmas tree
