The song might be more than fifty years old  but these two calves have yet to have their first birthday.

My favourite weather today ..... crisp, clear and cold. Driving was quite tricky on some roads when the low sun hit the windscreen full on and visibility was almost nil.

A good walk this morning and then just after lunch I did a spot more pruning of my pear tree. I can do no more without help so I'll text my gardener and hope that he can come with his big power trimmer and do the bits that I can't reach.
