Sunny

The sun shone today! I helped with the knitting and crafts group at the refugee centre. There weren’t many people, probably because it’s so cold. We listened to some Kurdish music on my phone with the radio garden App. The Iranian and Turkish clients were surprised to recognise the tune, which is sung with different words in their homelands.
I had tea with Liz later on; these sunny tulips decorated the cafe table.
I’ve started ‘Eavesdropping on Jane Austen’s England’ by Roy & Lesley Adkins which was a Christmas gift. They’ve drawn on contemporary diaries and have found some real gems of social history that are new to me.
