The Tunnel
Long long ago there was a railway line from Oxford to Princes Risborough - it went the way of many local railway lines in the 1960s.
One of the features of the line (and probably one of most expensive bits to build) was the 500 m long Horspath Tunnel. The cutting at the eastern end is now Littleworth nature reserve - and the tunnel has been blocked off so that it can be used as an hibernaculum for bats.
The extra is taken elsewhere on the reserve.
