Waxing Crescent.

Although I have taken a few photos today, I was not overly happy with most of them so I took a chance on a shot of the young moon. This was taken hand held from my front door and I think it has turned out not too bad.
Today’s extra is a view from the Sir David Stirling Memorial looking towards Doune Castle with Deanston House in the background. Doune Castle has appeared in numerous films, notably as Castle Anthrax in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
A very cold day but with bright sunshine from dawn to dusk. I suspect normal winter service weather will resume tomorrow!
