Bonus birdspot

A visit to the dinosaurs in Crystal Palace Park brought a bonus nuthatch. I'm chuffed to see (and snap) one so early in the year. I was also delighted to hear a song thrush singing – such a beautiful song.

We walked to Crystal Palace via Norwood Park, where we stood for a bit to take in the city with a dark, foreboding sky – a thunderstorm was forecast, but it didn't happen. 

Finished Asimov's Caves of Steel – it's spent six years on my shelf so it was high time I gave it some attention.
