Monkey spectre

I took only one photo this evening of a monkey, but it was blurred, so I fiddled with filters and got this effect!
I've had an unproductive day - didn't sleep well last night after a video call with daughter Penni in NYC - she and her friend were ice skating when she fell, landing up being taken by ambulance to the ER. She has a fracture of her left rotator cuff and is in a sling for six weeks! It could have been much worse, so we are grateful no surgery was needed. I feel so sorry for her as she and her friend, visiting from Dubai are off to a ski resort in Colorado on Friday. She had been so looking forward to her first skiing holiday and learning how to ski.. Instead she'll take her sketch book and books to read. There are many other activities that she can do - her friend is a good skier so he will still do some skiing.
It's her 40th birthday when they are there too and they are planning a lovely evening out. I feel better after chatting to her today - she is very positive, says her shoulder isn't very sore. 
Do we ever stop worrying about our children??
