Standing in the sunshine

It was a freezing cold but beautiful sunny day today.  Mary had some money to spend on things for her flat so we bought a kettle, a toaster, a clothes airer and a notice board.  After that we were very heavily laden with all our purchases and had to ask thechimp to come and pick us up and take us home in the car.
