The Light
On a bright winter's day when the sun is low, I follow the shadows around this room. I can never use wallpaper in the back rooms as I would miss the shadows too much.
I awaited the courier to pick up delivery of my girl's Christmas pressies. It seems odd that I buy them, wrap them up, watch her delight as she unwraps them, then I parcel them up and send them to London for her. I could miss out the unwrapping bit, but where's the fun in that?
Later I took the chopped up tree to the allotment to help supply the necessary minerals to the blueberries. It's a different clearer view in Winter, but such a delight. The ground is frozen solid so no beetroots or leeks will be making it home.
Joy- an empty ironing pile
The general tidy feel without the decorations
Icy little puddles in pots and on glass.
