Territorial!

I haven't put the buffet out for the birds for awhile for various reasons, including a neighborhood cat that likes to drop by and take a nap on our back deck when the weather is good.  But, I did not see the cat today, so I put the birdseed out to see if I could get a shot for Wild Wednesday and this male Cardinal was first in line.  He was very territorial about his brunch at first----- you could see that in his eye and posture---- but eventually he left and some other birds came.  Of all the shots I took, this was still my favorite.  Thanks to Cailleach for hosting.....
