Kiddicraft

I would spend many hours arguing playing a game with an American friend along the lines of... She would say "America invented blah blah blah..." and I would correct her in the manner "No! Actually it's a British invention.....".

This "game" had legs...television, radio, submarines, lightbulbs, powered flight, the jet engine..hell, we even invented America..or was that someone else? Anyway, it wasn't America:) I conceded Monopoly and White-out.

However on the "Lego is American" argument we both lost, as it was Danish...or so we assumed.

A little googling uncovers that Lego was in fact based on a British product made by Kiddicraft.

Ha! I win that one too! Call me Mr Petty if you like:)
