The Wader

We added an extra bit onto a favourite walk, to make one that took in 2 reservoirs. This spot, overlooking the water and sculpture is a lovely spot to rest - - it was in the sunshine, and the sculpture ('The Wader') by artist Marjan Wouda really fits adds to the view.

We always call this 'The Christmas Tree reservoir' rather than it's proper name, as at this time of year lots of the smaller trees by the footpath are decorated in memory of loved ones who have died. Baubles, tinsel and poems, photos... they are really touching.
