Them Bones

A very pleasant visit to the Willis Museum in Basingstoke today with my fellow bone enthusiasts to see the Skeletons: London's Buried Bones exhibition on tour from the Wellcome Collection. A small but well selected group of human remains with various interesting anatomical and pathological features.

I've never really been to Basingrad (as it's affectionately known locally) before so it was good to see a bit of its history in the archaeology gallery afterwards and also some of the attractive older architecture in the town itself.
