Bertie’s Bar

In Dundrum, Co. Tipperary

After a stormy, rainy drive down, we arrived at this beautiful village in the heart of horse country. Staying in a country lodge visiting my son and his family. We are surrounded by trees everywhere, large racing stables and friendly locals.

The local bar is Bertie’s and the large mural (before they became fashionable) is of Dundrum ridden by Tommy Wade

The road into Cashel where you suddenly see the Rock of Cashel is a sight to behold.
