Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

It's the real thing!

Unlike my blip of Hogmanay, this is the real and original Forth Bridge. Interestingly, the others are named the Forth Road Bridge and the Queensferry Crossing. One built in each of the last three centuries.
I drove Ali, Stuart and Josie to South Queensferry today, they were going out for a special lunch using a voucher they had been giving. I headed across to Linlithgow to visit a shop which, in spite of my having checked their website, was closed. I guess it had fallen victim to the virus and isolation rules. I wish they'd updated their website though could have saved myself a wasted drive.
Got home in time for evening prayer which was good. As I'm not going to church at the moment, online services are important.
As today is Epiphany (although many churches including mine celebrated it last Sunday) I was pleased to see that the Magi have made it to the stable, see extra.
Keep safe folks, high numbers, although the cases don't seem so severe.
