Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

Another pocket finished and glued in place on the inside of the cover for March. I've folded a lot of dried tea dyed papers today. 3 months have gotten papers and covers. 5 months to go and my daily diary journal is done, but at least I have 3 months to write before the gap until September.
Tonight was a disturbed sleep kind of night. I got stuck in the journal making and went to bed far to late and when I'm drifting in to sleep I hear the acceleration of a car outside, and the roar of skidding tires on icy ground. That woke me up... and they came again after a while... Then I tried to sleep again and what comes roaring down the street with floodlights and swirling orange light? Of course, a snow plough... then the clock showed 03.30 and I did my best to ignore the light that filled my small apartment. It went away and silence spread its wings, for a while at least...until the next (or same) snow plough came thundering down the street making the asphalt shriek when the plough pressed and scraped the ground. Flashing orange light and bright white light yet again filled my apartment and the irritating thing is that they gladly stand still where the bus has its turning point, shining the light straight in through my windows. I wonder what they think, standing there? They must see that there're people living where they shine the bright light... or, perhaps they just don't care.
So, I didn't get much sleep and I'm hoping for a better nights sleep this night... Fingers crossed...
