King for a day

The kids were excited to wake to a few treats in their shoes, left by the Kings...
Late morning we headed off to meet John and Dawn for a hike around the coast up north. John is Danny's tennis partner. He's a walking guide on the island so knows loads of routes and interesting bits of history. We hiked to a watchtower and he told the kids pirate stories! The walk was a lot of clambering and scrambling along a cliff side - we were all so impressed by the ids, Nate especially. A brilliant few hours. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Time with John and Dawn. 
2) Getting to know part of the island that's a mystery to us still.
3) Danny cooking a delicious dinner tonight.
