Weather front

It was a very cold, frosty night, but the morning sun soon started to thaw the frost.  That didn't last long though: this splendid cloud formation signalled an approaching weather front, and the day turned dull and cloudy, and a little rain followed on.

The weather is set to be very changeable over the next few days.
