Pelican party!

We were on our way to my routine doctor’s appointment. He’s about 3 hours away and we had been on the road about 2 hours when his office called to cancel. They said he has “ a little bug.” Oh my! It’s probably Omicron! Prayers for a quick recovery. He’s a very special guy.
We detoured and went by a favorite lake. We found a Pelican party! There were dozens and dozens of them! I liked this guy as he/she looks battle scared!! Such comical looking birds.
