The long pond

As I drove up my road past the long pond this afternoon I saw a bit of color reflect on the ice. I pulled in the drive and hoofed it down to the dam and got this picture. Just a skim of ice on the pond and it will be covered in snow tomorrow. We are all doing our snow dance tonight for a snow day tomorrow and no school. Several schools around us have already cancelled so I'm just waiting to see what happens. There is a winter storm warning and the weather people are advising people not to be on the roads tomorrow. You would think they would go ahead and cancel school tonight....
