Bridgette’s 40th

It’s been a lovely day putting together this surprise afternoon tea for my niece. She is the oldest of all my nieces from both sides of the family!

The indigenous boat trip she had planned got cancelled due to bad weather, so our plan B got kicked into action.

Jenny and the girls came early to set up and get everything ready. All in time for Bridgette to arrive with Bruce and be totally blown away by all that had been put together. She was really touched and loved it all.

The party carried on till about 10pm, by which time I was well and truly pooped!!! Sleep was very welcome.

It’s been wonderful to be back in Oz for the first of the big milestones in the family. There are at least 5 more this year ….
