It was raining/sleeting/snowing/blowing on Arlo's evening walk in the dark, unusually he was keeping very close to me for a while. I hadn't reached the turning point, so decided to turn right there and boy, he was off on his way, couldn't wait to get home. I mean he must have been following going "whit ya doin ya madman, I know I wanted out but c'mon dad, enough's enough". Yes my jeans were soaked through. I must remember next time to look for that look. I am however reassured that 1. he is not an ALL weather dog and 2. he is prepared to follow me in ALL weathers.
