The Red Rose of Lancashire

Adopted as the emblem of Lancashire following the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. This is our new flag highlighted against a spring sky on what we are told will be the last day of the very cold weather. Let's hope so, all the inhabitants of the moors really need a bit of warm sunshine now.
