Yellow Primula

The florist's are already offering spring flowers in little pots of earth! I love it! Yellow Primula are always my first choice - they are the sunshine flowers of January. I also bought some hyacinths but the buds have not yet opened, so that will be for sometime next week.

Now that my Christmas decorations have been put away, the spring colours are coming out around my home.

It's zero degrees this morning. Just as it should be for the season!
Since the winter solstice, we've already gained about 38 minutes in our day. Hurray!

The sunshine is out and I'm going for a walk shortly. We may have snow towards the evening!
