The snowfall begins

We expected between 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) of snow starting this evening into the early morning. It started about two hours before it was forecast, so I was able to get a picture during daylight.

Sigh. I guess it's really winter. I miss Arizona. I'm glad I work from home.

I can't let today go by without marking the anniversary of the attempted coup on the U.S. Capitol. I really feel like we're witnessing firsthand the downfall of democracy in this country. I hope the lawmakers and others who helped bring it to fruition are expelled from Congress and face consequences. The low-level losers who traveled to the capital are being punished, and rightfully so, but the leaders are who truly need to be brought to justice.
