New Bridge

Today has felt strange all day! A working Friday for G, and an early start too. She took herself to work, and I got to my desk to clear some stuff. We went for a drive after she got home to celebrate the new work week and to take the car for a run.

We went to the Last Exit, which was very empty! It was ALL OURS! We're not usually there at lunchtime and certainly not on a Friday, so it was hard to tell if people were at work or if it was just a normal Friday.

We drove on to get a picture of the new Shindagha Bridge that has been built to replace the Shindagha Tunnel. G took the picture from her side of the car. Home for the rest of the day watching documentaries about Michelle Obama and Dolly Parton! It's been low key. And to think the weekend is yet to start!
