Snow chasers

Went off on a jaunt in the car (with Christmas cake and a flask of hot chocolate) to see if we could get up into the hills and see some snow. Not much had fallen but we stopped on the road towards the top of a hill where it had only been disturbed by a tractor. Getting up the hill was easy, getting down was a bit trickier because some of it was pretty steep and the snow on the road made it slippery. The constant chattering of the car's ABS was reassuring and luckily we did not meet anyone coming the other way. Great to see the landscape looking like this.
