Mural

A short walk down to the river straight after lunch. So many BT OpenReach vans blocking the road and pavement on Church Street that I decided to avoid them altogether, and went down the steep steps past Mill Yard House and the mural. To the right on the mural are depicted cup and ring marked rocks - there's quite a lot of pre-historic rock art in the area. No idea about the significance of the black bird with the wheel.

Measured up, and ordered the material for the bedroom curtains this afternoon. The fabric samples arrived in today's post, and it didn't take long to choose between them. Luckily, MrM and I were in complete agreement, so for once we didn't spend ages agonising about which one! May have to invest in some pinking shears.
