With reference to the Blip of a couple of nights ago, here's the faulty cable that was removed and replaced from this camera, and thank goodness that the new one and rear screen are now fully working, touchscreen et al. That was one of the most fiddly and frustrating jobs I've ever done. As can be seen comparing the above with the (rear of the) flat cable that arrived, there are lots of bends to be put in place to fit the thing. The three solder joints for the top bit were the easiest part of installing it.
