Boston by foot

Today I went exploring the city. Boston by foot. For me walking has always been the most intimate way to experience place. And nothing beats just taking in the sights and sounds strolling around and figuring things out for yourself along the way.

I walked all morning from Cambridge in the North, clear across the city to South Boston taking the red line back. I took this shot walking through the public gardens downtown. Everything is alive and blooming. Tulips to poplar trees. People out walking, birds singing all over the place, and street musicians strumming guitar and bawling out the blues.
