To Hell and Back

Really entertaining yet quite eclectic and surreal performance tonight of a storytelling border ballad play called ‘The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart’ at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre.

Particularly loved the second act with its beautiful revolving ‘underworld’ stage depicting as one would expect the ‘topography of hell’. Hadn’t intended this to mirror yesterdays red bread of Life on Mars, but seems a nice synergy.

Two consecutive days of blips on the trot, so will need to rest for a bit now.
