Blossom

The blossom has appeared on one of the small trees in the garden (no idea what kind it is). It’s a shame as I believe it’s a few months early and, like last year, will never quite flower properly before it dies off. Anyway, this is a rare foray into the world of flora for me and is a macro of a few millimetres of the centre of one of the flowers, the stamens being the yellowy orange bits. It’s all been Photoshopped simply for the hell of it :)
