The little devil.....
The good news is that the robin has forgiven me and was back today despite his cross look yesterday. He brought a friend too who waited patiently in a nearby bush obviously feeling shy! The squirrel also showed up once the nuts were out.
I was working from home again today. It was quiet thank goodness. I've been really struggling to get up to full speed this week. Hopefully I'll be better next week. For now, I am sat here tapping away just relieved it's Friday and I can have a lie in until 8:30 tomorrow. I've never been one for staying in bed all day. 8:30 will be a three and a half hour lie in which is enough for anyone, I think. Years ago, I used to set my alarm for 5am even at the weekends and holiday times just for the delightful pleasure of turning the alarm off and rolling over to doze happily. It backfired on me once and I got up and went to work on a Bank Holiday Monday! I wondered why I had to wait ages for a bus and why the roads were so quiet. I was on the slope at the side of the council house before a bell went off in my head and I groaned 'Oh dear!' (or words to that effect) and turned around to go home....
