Out of the waves . . . !

The local forecast for this afternoon's weather wasn't too promising, so Ollie and I hit the beach early! Not a soul in sight - not even a foot print!

As things turned out, the weather stayed fine all day. A bit of a breeze picked up, but the sun shone and I was able to do a bit more in the garden. In the greenhouse I sowed some courgettes and various flower seeds, but there's no heat in there so they will have to take their chances under a thick layer of bubble wrap. There's still time to re-sow if they don't survive!
