Tintagel

So lucky to get here. Shut due to high winds for the last two days (and as this is a backblip I know it was shut for the next two as well). So we have ticked this box for things I wanted to do in Cornwall.

We had a good wander round, coffee/hot chocolate, slight sheltered from the wind, outside the café followed by a wander round the village. We then headed to Port Isaac, but the heavens opened as we arrived and as there was really only an hour of daylight left we headed home.

Back at the cottage I was regretting saying the kids, or more specifically Will, could stay up to midnight. But a good meal, a fire and two Harry Potter films got us through to 23.50 and then we watched the TV until just after midnight when I shooed them to bed!

Happy 2022. Here's hoping it turns out better than the last two!
