Cachoeira

Working through the confusion of its various names, I made it to the Cascatas / Cachoeira (both meaning waterfall) of Namuli / Licungo (referring respectively to the high peak in this area and the river that contains the waterfall).

Despite the relatively low flow early in the wet season, the waterfall is very picturesque nestled in the lush landscape. The journey to this vantage point took me up a steep red streak of track among the tea bushes, broken up by abandoned manufacturing buildings, precipitously balanced huts and stands of banana fronds. An excellent excursion.
