The Joys of Country Living

Late last night,  we wondered why the tractors were going up and down the fields over our wall' They were working with their headlights till well after 9 pm. This morning when I opened the door to feed the birds I realised why. You don't need much imagination to know what that pile of brown muck is . They were still spreading this morning . We wonder if they will now plough the field or just leave it for grass. Luckily the smell does not last long.
