GOING LOCO

A new addition to the Fleet . . . This Ruston Hornsby 48 DS Shunter Queen Anne, number 265618, was built in Lincoln in 1948. Delivered new to the Longmorn Distillery on 11th October. Longmorn Whisky was used as the ‘top dressing’ in many of Scotland’s best blended whiskies. This enables me to research both Railways and Whisky . . . how grand is that.
Of course I need to sample each whisky . . .  Hehe. I also need to track down a book called "Iron Rails And Whisky Trails" . . . this could take a long time . . . Cheers !
On closure of the Distillery Railway, QA was donated to the Strathspey Railway in 1980.
Stay safe everyone !
